UAL: FEMINIST ZINE
This zine, born from a visit to the Feminist Library in London, merges art history, graphic design, and feminism into a provocative exploration of historical female archetypes. Inspired by punk zines, I employed reprographic techniques to directly critique harmful female representations throughout art history.
QUALIFICATIONS BOOK
I spearheaded a sophisticated brand refresh for Commodore's qualifications book, channeling Swiss design principles. With a bold and refined style, I strategically employed white space, allowing the vibrant orange brand color to command attention. The layouts skillfully integrate images and existing language, creating a seamless and engaging narrative.
HYPERPOP
In this spread, each element is meticulously crafted to transcend the boundaries of conventional design, reflecting the fusion of technology and sound synonymous with Hyperpop. The hypercolors create an electrifying palette, while the lines and bitmap typeface weave together to mirror the dynamic and experimental nature of the genre. This piece showcases my refined skill of capturing the essence of the unexpected twists in Hyperpop's sonic landscape.
SIGNAGE BOOK
I created Commodore's signage book, infusing it with a Swiss-inspired, sophisticated, and bold design. The predominant use of the bright orange brand color adds vibrancy and character.
This project exemplifies my ability to deliver a visually striking and informative signage book that speaks directly to our client's needs.
MITSKI
Drawing inspiration from her album covers, I have seamlessly incorporated the typeface, jagged lines, and iconic red hue. The challenge of conveying her essence without images led me to push the boundaries of image treatment skills in Photoshop. I crafted a visual journey that captures Mitski's raw emotion and intensity.
